Though we LOVE portrait time where we get to capture real moments and make our couples look and feel like superstars there is one part of the day we love even more. THE PARTY! The reception is the time of day where the couple has already experienced and moved past their nerves, the stress of the schedule is no longer concerning, and along with their friends and family the bride and groom can just celebrate and be themselves.
This is the part of the day where personalities truly shine. This is one reason why we believe it is important to have your photographer/videographer stay for the reception. When people let loose, magic is created. Every photographer has their own way of capturing a reception. For the Portos, we know our couples came to party, so we want to capture it as if it’s a party. This is the time of day where we are front and center, dancing with our couples and guests, laughing along side of them, and capturing memories that they will look on and laugh at for years to come.
